| 20th August | Alas a bridge to far for the under 16`s - losing by 6 wickets to Swansea in the Final. batting first we managed a disappointing score of 82, but a more gutsy performance in the field gave Swansea a good run for their money needing 17 overs to pass our score. Don’t let this one result dampen what has been a phenomenal season for the under 16`s. Things are certainly looking good for the future. |

| 17th June | A much better weekend results wise, the First XI produced a solid performance to defeat LLangennech, the Second XI secured their first win of the season, unfortunately the thirds suffered another defeat. There have been encouraging reports that an increasing number of individuals, in particular "the younger element", across all three teams, are starting to produce consistant performances. |

| 8th June | CONGRATULATIONS to Tom Day & Jamie Hill, they have been included in the SWJCA Under 14`s Representative Squad. They will be travelling to Lords to attend a coaching session in the indoor cricket schoolat the end of June |
| 7th June | Apologies for the lack of information over the past few weeks, One month into the season and what a mixed bag of results !!! The firsts experienced a couple of hic-cups but on the whole a very encouraging start. Unfortunately the Seconds & Thirds haven’t had such an auspicious start. The results however don’t do justice to some of the performances put in especially from the youngsters who have been thrown in at the deep end. I’m sure things will improve as the season progresses, weather permitting of course?? |
| 22nd May | Never let it be said we`re fair weather cricketers!! well done lads what a performance. |
| 7th May | What can I say...... thing can only get better (as the song goes)??? looking forward to next week we should see a number of players return who will strengthen all 3 teams. |
| 30th April | Just a note to remind all players that its your responsibility to inform the selection committee of your availability, its not for them to chase you. |
| 29th April | The season is underway, not a great start 2 losses and a loosing draw, reports are that there were some encouraging performances, especially from the `younger` players. There was a nasty rumor that a time warp occured at Tircanol, causing Mike Griffiths & Duncan Williams to be seen opening the batting. Anyone remember when that happened last, you may need to speak to your Grandparents?????? |
| 26th April | Any player who has not made themselves available and who is available please contact a committee member ASAP |
| 25th April | Web site goes live |
